About Us

Metro Dumaguete Water (MDW) is the joint venture company of Dumaguete City Water District (DCWD) and Metro Pacific Water (MPW) that provide improved water distribution services to Dumaguete and nearby communities.

The Joint Venture Agreement between DCWD and MPW was signed on September 2019. MDW commenced operations on February 1, 2021.

MPW is a wholly owned subsidiary of MPIC (PSE: MPI)—the leading infrastructure holding company in the Philippines. MPW was incorporated in the Philippines and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 19, 2011.

We, at Metro Pacific Dumaguete Water Services, Inc. (“MDW”), are customer-focused and committed to providing our customers with safe, reliable, and continuous water supply and quality service.

Metro Dumaguete Water received a Seal and Certificate of Registration from the National Privacy Commission (NPC) on August 1, 2024. The Data Privacy Seal affirms MDW’s commitment to adhere to the standards set by the Data Privacy Act, which includes implementing measures to protect personal data, ensuring data subjects’ rights, and handling data breaches properly.
